Wanted Layout
Hello all. I just got done with a layout I've been working on for the past couple days. Don't know why it took me so long to get it done, I guess life just happens :o)
Sorry for the glare :o/ The only cartridge I used for this layout was the Cricut Cartridge, Old West. I know the blue background paper is from Basic Grey, and that's about all I can tell you about the paper :o) The gun and the star were each cut at 4 inches.
Just wanted to share this with you quickly tonight, it's getting late and I am tired! Hope you all had a fabulous day!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #50
So this is very last minute, but I decided to make a layout for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. The challenge was to create a project using a tree.
I designed this layout on my Gypsy, as I do for most of my layouts :o) These are our pumpkins from 2010. I still haven't finished our Halloween pictures from my daughters first one back in 2008. The tree is cut from the Cricut Cartridge October 31st, and I used my irock to add a little bling to the end of some of the branches. The Beware sign is also cute from the Cricut Cartridge October 31st. Originally the sign said pumpkin patch, but I used my gypsy to hide that and then I used the solutions cartridges, Street Signs to cut out the Beware. The fence is cut from the Cricut Cartridge, Paper Doll Dress Up, and the grass is cut from the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridge. I used two different fonts for the title. The J, the O, and the L are all cut from the Cricut Happy Hauntings Shape Cartridge, using the Vampire Font, the rest of the letters are cut from the Cricut Solutions Cartridge, Stone Script. I think that's everything. Any questions, just ask, and I'll do my best to answer them :o) Hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Just trying something new
OK, so yesterday I posted my layout for the M.A.G. challenge, and I told you I used the Cricut Cartridge, From My Kitchen, so I wanted to provide a link for you if you don't have already have this cartridge. If you want to purchase this cartridge, all you have to do is click the link... if this works, it's the first time I've tried it :o)

M.A.G. Challenge
So I know I've been MIA here on my blog, but I've been scrapping away! I figured what better time to come back then now, when I want to enter a challenge :o) I found this challenge blog through the cricut message board. They give you a specific cartridge and a specific page of the handbook for that cartridge, and you are only allowed to use cuts from that page! How fun!!
I'm not really into making cards, so I thought this would be perfect to challenge me to get really creative with my scrapbooking.
For this challenge we are supposed to use page 60 from From my Kitchen. And that is just what I did. I used my gypsy to fit the frames on the pictures. The frame is under the tabs feature. I had to cut the frames a couple times before I got the sizing right though. The little recipe cards are also from the tabs feature. I also used the Ovals feature and the Ovals Shadow feature to cut out the title :Drinks".
The background paper is American Crafts, and the frames and title are cut from a paper pad I got at Wal-Mart.
Well I hope you enjoy! Hopefully I'll have the cartridge they pick next week so I can join this challenge again!! Thanks for looking!

Brothers Page
Oh my gosh! It seems like I haven't posted on here in forever. Life has just been busy since I got to Michigan. I've been trying to get things set up for us to build a house, so that's been keeping my busy. This past week I've been sick along with my kids and I have not felt like getting off the couch. I'm finally starting to feel a little better, but my kids are still down for the count. I did finish a page before I got sick, so I thought I would share it with you all.
I designed it on my gypsy, as I do most of my layouts. I'm not sure where the patterned paper came from, but I know the brown textured, shiney paper is from american crafts. I cut the monkey out with B is for Boy, and the title is cut using the font on the Superman cartridge. I'm not sure if you can tell or not, but I also put glossy accents on the heart of the monkey.
Now that I'm feeling better I'm hoping I can post on here a little more! I have lots of pictures to scrap, and my supplies are slowly growing ( I left everything, but my gypsy, back in Germany). So thanks for taking a peek, hope you enjoyed.

Been MIA
Sorry I've been MIA. We've been pretty busy with moving back to Michigan. My hubby just went back to Germany to finish his time in the army, so now life will slow down a lot more and I can get back to working on this blog. I have done 1 layout in the 2 weeks I've been here, so I'll try to get that uploaded to show you all. I hope all is great for everyone!

Busy, busy, busy
I promise I haven't forgotten about this blog already! I have just been super busy getting stuff ready to fly back to Michigan. I try to get stuff done during the day, but with my husband at work, and my kids not letting me do anything, the only time I can get stuff done is at night after the kids go to bed, which is usually when I do my scrapping and my blogging. So for the next few days, probably through the weekend, I probably won't be here much. After we get all settled in I'll get back on here, gotta get used to the time difference too. Right now we are 6 hours ahead of Michigan, so that'll be a fun adjustment with 3 young kids :o) Hope all is well with everybody!

1st Carousel Ride
This is a layout that I did of my daughters first carousel ride. We were down at a resort in Garmisch, Germany. Very beautiful place! I did this layout a while ago so I don't remember everything about it. I do know that my husband helped me design it on my gypsy. The top part of the carousel is actually an umbrella from, I believe, the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. The horses are also from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. The font, I think, is from the Printing Press cartridge, and I covered the letter in stickles.
I've been working on a layout today of my 2 month old, and I just got it finished, but I'll share that tomorrow or the next day. It's 10 o' clock here in Germany, so I'm ready to go to bed. I still have so much to do to get ready to leave on Friday. So tomorrow will probably be a busy day of laundry and taking all the Christmas decorations down.... that's my hopes anyway. With a 3 year old, an almost 2 year old, and a 2 month old, things don't always go the way you planned. Have a great day!!

I'm going home!!!
Well we found out my husband's leave was approved!! YAY!! I'm finally get to go home to Michigan! We leave in less then a week, so I have lots and lots to do. My husband, Josh, has Tuesday off, so we will gather what we need to mail to my parents house, like my cricut cartridges, and other scrapbooking things I'm going to need to take with me :o) We have other things we are going to mail ahead of us too. I also have a lot of cleaning to do. As soon as Josh gets back here to Germany he is going to have our household goods picked up and shipped back to the good ol' U.S. of A.. I still need to put our Christmas stuff away!! That's all for now, I was just so excited that I had to share the news. I'll have a scrapbook page uploaded later to show.

In From The Cold layout
Here is another layout that I did. The pictures are from when we had just come inside after a walk during the winter of 2009. My husband had just gotten back from being deployed, so we were doing anything and everything we could think of.
Again I have no idea what the paper is. I used to only by loose sheets of paper, and I never payed attention to what I was buying, just whatever was cute.
The words "In From The" are cut from the cartridge Cuttin' Up
The word Cold is cut from Speaking of Winter
The mittens and the sled are cut from Joys of the Season
I did this layout before Christmas so I really don't remember all the details as far as size and stuff goes. I'll try to get better about all that!
We are anxiously waiting to hear if my hubby got his leave approved so that we can go home to Michigan. It's going to be a mad dash to get everything ready if he does get approved, but going home will be well worth it!
Well until next time, I hope everybody has a fantastic day!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge
This is the layout I did for the Snow Delights challenge on the Fantabulous Cricut blog. This is the very first time I have ever entered a challenge or anything like it. I'm not the best at taking pictures of my stuff yet, so bear with me, I'm still learning.
This is a 12x12 layout I did of my daughter back in 2009. I have no idea what the paper is that I used. It was just some I had in my stash. The window frame is cut from the Christmas solutions cartridge. The snowflakes are from Stretch Your Imagination, and the font is cut from the Jubilee cartridge in the Runt style. So there it is. Hope you all enjoy and I hope to get some more layouts done to show you all on my blog!
A New Year, A New Start
So here I am again. I've tried this blogging thing before, and I failed, but here I am again. It's a brand new year so I figured why not give it another try? There are a lot of changes coming to my life in 2011. My husband is currently in the army and will be getting out this year, so we will have to learn to live the civilian life again. We've been living in Germany for the past 3 years, and in just a couple weeks my 3 kids and I are moving back to our home state of Michigan while my husband finish's his time in the army here in Germany. So to give myself something to do for a year with no husband (besides running around after 3 kids) , I'll be working on this blog. I'll also be working on my scrapbooks more. I've recently discovered the Fantabulous Cricut blog and the challeneges that they have. So I'm hoping those challenges, challenge me to work on my scrapbooks more often. I only a few years behind on all the pictures I have! So here's hoping I stick with this blog! Thanks for reading my ramblings!
